I love this programme, and the christmas special was so good.

Can't wait for the new series in Jan

I've recorded it and plan to watch it this evening....a new series in Jan, something to look forward to. I loved the last one.

I enjoyed it in a nice gentle Sunday evening sort of way. Storyline? Well you can get away with more tripe in a Christmas special!

We thought it was really crap, and we usually enjoy it.

Particular favourites were:

sprayed white ground with lush summer leaves behind

lovely authentic victorian dialogue such as "it's not all about you."

Phrase "this'll be the best Christmas EVER" used liberally.

aaah the Christmas special...
