notnowbernard · 17/12/2008 19:58

Duffy looks great

Hate her sound though

TeenyTinyTorya · 17/12/2008 19:59

Better than the Pussycat Dolls though.

AnyFuckerForAMincePie · 17/12/2008 20:06

that bint singing with brian may was a screamer < yuk > .

TeenyTinyTorya · 17/12/2008 20:07

Great song - but she did murder it a bit. Just shouting at the end.

Who was she anyway? I skipped to Hugh (he won over Rick - I was indecisive) but either were preferable to RVP

TeenyTinyTorya · 17/12/2008 20:12

I don't know, I missed the name. The Welsh grammar comedian is a bit dire.

Talking to myself, lol, but George Samson was good.

jojosmaman · 17/12/2008 20:21

Who were the beat box guys?

mincepiesmustbedunkedincream · 17/12/2008 20:46

George Samson ("yoof of today") smashed a tube window by jumping through it. I know it's entertainment but was that neccessary? DH & I decided there'll be compaints about that.

Always watched this every since a kid. Not changed at all!

Love the male ballerinas. Missed them when they came to our local theatre recently. Went down a storm there, seemed to have passed by the Variety Show audience

TeenyTinyTorya · 17/12/2008 20:58

Eh? Why? No-one complains about the numerous action heroes who smash through windows.

The Trockaderos are indeed marvellous, can't wait to see them early next year. I couldn't stop laughing at the dying swan.

I'm getting splinters watching the sleb *presenters"...

TeenyTinyTorya · 17/12/2008 21:04

This thing is quite funny - the mix of "yoof" speak and 1940's things.

Peter Kay! Love him (and Nicky Chapmans dress)

Sabs1981 · 17/12/2008 21:49

Leona was pretty good as well

agree re the beat box boys...and the 1st comedian was really funny, had me and DH in stiches, sorry cant remember his name

MaryMotherOfCheeses · 17/12/2008 21:51

Only half watching. Seems to be entirely populated by transvestites.

Maybe the producers know more about royal tastes than we do.

TeenyTinyTorya · 17/12/2008 22:03

The beat box boys were Naturally 7. Comedian was Michael McIntyre I think.

I loved the trannies! The Trocks are great, and that song from La Cage Aux Follies just gives me chills. Such an amazing sentiment and the acting was superb.
