I saw the 1920's coal house on BBC3 or 4. Is it that one, or a new one - when we went to the Big Pit, the guide said there was a new one...

We watched both of them- the 1920's one and the ww2 one. It was fab.

i am so sad I missed the first one. I never realised they were on. why is something so good hidden away?

Because Welsh programming has never been considered to be mainstream unfortunately. It's only coming more to the fore since dr who was done by bbc wales.

it is so much better than the 1940's house.
(the teen girl is annoying though)

Coal house. Very good telly

Be glad to have something such good quality specifically on Welsh TV, it's usually rubbish.

I am very grateful! It's just a shame that the head honchos in bbc tv centre seem to think that only the Welsh have any onterest in the old mining communities. Which is a load of cobblers.
