does Alison's husband and colleagues always treat her dreams with skeptism. Surely after all this time they should be convinced that there might be something in it. Especially her husband.

because sometimes her dream doesn't mean what she thinks it means.

Her husband isn't sceptical of her dreams, just the meaning behind them (I think)

Which series are you watching, and on what channel?

beeny · 06/12/2008 22:17

I agree i like the husband but he is so doubting about her abilities would piss me off.

scifinerd · 06/12/2008 22:19

i am watching it on planner, the latest series. I love it and I love her DH but he is annoying about her dreams. But you have to feel sorry for him in a house filled to the brim with oestrogen and psychic powers, poor love.

when's the latest series on real telly then? I didn't realise it was being shown. How many have I missed?

beeny · 06/12/2008 22:22

Actually i quite fancy him

scifinerd · 06/12/2008 22:27

oh no squonk its on a wednesday night. Its been on a few weeks now. They always repeat them on scifi though if you have sky or maybe on bbc iplayer. Beeny I quite fancy him too.

Theres only 2 episodes left this series on BBC1 .

I normally love Joe but hated how he basically sulked his way into getting Alison to agree to his business venture this season. I do laugh every week when she always shoots up in bed after her dreams and he is always so understanding. Poor love must be shattered

fryalot · 06/12/2008 22:39

I shall look out for it on sci fi. I see it on there quite often, but they are always episodes I've seen so I tend not to take too much notice. I shall start looking again

Thank you

scifinerd · 06/12/2008 22:41

yes they wake up almost as often as I do with my baby. Why aren't they sleep deprived?

Lol especially as Alison seems to be out half the night with Scanlon as well. She must be hooked on Pro-plus or something

MisteleSQUONKandWine · 06/12/2008 22:44

I read a book a month or so ago, and in the first page we were introduced to three minor characters... Joe, Alison and Scanlon.

I thought wonder what the author was watching when he wrote that...

Pixel · 06/12/2008 23:38

I just wish she'd put the phone on her side of the bed! Every time it rings in the middle of the night it is for her, and if she has a dream and decides she has to phone Scanlon straight away she dives across poor Joe for the phone.

TinkerBellesMum · 06/12/2008 23:46

Yeah, annoys me too.

I've given up trying to watch it on TV so have had to get a friend to do me a copy. I'm too addicted to MN to watch programmes on my PC though!
