Cringe time.
Some friends & I wrote to Jim'll Fix It to see if we could go to Coronation Street to sample Betty's hotpot. Needless to say we never got a reply (mmh wonder why). Anybody else ever write in or get their wish fulfilled even???!!!!

I did too, I wanted to do a parachute jump out of a plane - don't know why! Anyway 20 years later I'm finally going to do one, so sod JS.

My sister and I wrote asking for my mum to meet steve davies,(my mum hated him). Luckily they didnt reply, what little cows we were!

I wrote & asked to swim with dolphins - but so did a lot of other people I think I remember being gutted when I saw someone else do it instead of me!

Jim'll was always distant and unchummy with the children, never used their names, or their parents names, and was generally unpleasant, I always thought.
