DS loved Top Gear from age 5 or 6. But then perhaps TG is aimed at that age group anyway

misdee · 17/11/2008 11:13

lol topgear is great. the girls dont like that though.

SoupDragon · 17/11/2008 11:13

BabyDragon watches way to much TV designed for 7 and 8 yo boys...

The flip side being that DS1 (nearly 10) watches far too much Cbeebies! They all seem to enjoy numberjacks.

misdee · 17/11/2008 11:14

ah yes, dd3 likes icarly

X Factor & Strictly Come Dancing for dd aged 4 but I don't think thats very unusual. She does rather like Top Gear too!

remote · 17/11/2008 11:30

misdee - my DS also aged 3 loves iCarly!!!

DD aged 10 likes anything her Dad watches at the moment - she is in idolise Daddy mode - it's quite sweet really!

meridian · 17/11/2008 11:38

DS loves Bear Grylls survival show... it is good though.. except for the eating of really gross things.. and Bear is quite attractive.. he was doing pushups starkers on a glacier last night with a blurry circle for modesty sake. sigh

southeatsastras · 17/11/2008 11:40

ds(7) likes come dine with me, does that count?

he also loves little bear on nick jnr

in between it's all batman and drwho

DrNortherner · 17/11/2008 11:45

My ds is 6 and he loves Peppa Pig but would never admit it to anyone!

He alos likes Top Gear, The Bill and Dog The Bounty Hunter

blametheparents · 17/11/2008 11:46

DS (age 7) likes Helicopter Heroes and emergency services style fly on the wall prgrammes. I tend to record them for him if they are on during the day as the ones that are on in the evening are often too graphic!
Top Gear also a fave. He is watching it now as he is off school sick.

francagoestohollywood · 17/11/2008 11:48

ds is 6 and still watches Maisy with great pleasure.

francagoestohollywood · 17/11/2008 11:51

Gosh, we all miss Nick Jr

stealthsquiggle · 17/11/2008 11:52

DS(6) still likes (some of) CBeebies/Disney Playhouse but uses DD (2) as an excuse - he also loves Strictly Come Dancing and 'Hole in the Wall', as well as Masterchef and any other cookery programmes.

superloopy · 17/11/2008 11:58

DD 4yo loves watching Friends - she particularly likes to dance to the theme song!

Poledra · 17/11/2008 11:59

IMHO, stealthsquiggle, Hole in the Wall is meant for children your DS's age.

Tillyscoutsmum · 17/11/2008 12:00

DD and DSD are 18 months and 5 and both look Strictly Come Dancing and You've been Framed

Marne · 17/11/2008 12:02

Dd1(4) likes 'TV Burp' and hole in the wall, family fortunes, x-factor and Deal or no deal. (most game shows)

stealthsquiggle · 17/11/2008 12:03

Quite possibly, Pol - although I would have to admit to finding it strangely fascinating, if only to imagine the conversation these people have with their agents..... apparently (according to DH who gets it from God only knows where) they are not making another series because they have run out of people who are prepared to come on.

Gosh I wonder why

smugmumofboys · 17/11/2008 12:06

DS1 (6) loves Masterchef, Bear Grylls and Backyardigans (in between Dr Who, Merlin etc).

mummypingu · 17/11/2008 14:19

ds1 4yrs and ds2 20mths both like to watch you've been framed with mummy and daddy..i think, erk..do not recreate any of these things at home! ds2 likes the clips with animals in it and enjoys us laughing..its nice all being squished on the sofa

blametheparents · 17/11/2008 14:47

stealthsquiggle - My DS will be upset when he find out there is not going to be another series of Hole in the Wall, he loves it too!

Flamesparrow · 17/11/2008 14:53

HSM - he is TWO! Never seen a toddler so obsessed with Troy and "Gadidella"

DD (5) gets teased by her friend for liking Night Garden

They both love Dr Who & Merlin. DS likes Chuck too

Chirpygirl · 17/11/2008 15:02

Thanks to DH always putting tv on but refusing to watch kids tv, DD1 has loved thunderbirds since she was weeny and they both love Deadliest Catch and American Chopper.

DD1 likes extreme makeover home edition as well, she gets really worked up when 'the naughty diggers' knock the houses down.

GivePeasAChance · 17/11/2008 15:07

Another Top Gear-er here.

Although I am getting really annoyed with JAMES MAY (least likely of all of them !) saying "COCK".

Fantastic programme for youngsters - creative, fun, competitive (just a bit much COCK from James M!)

slalomsuki · 17/11/2008 16:18

DS1 likes the trawlermen series

DS2 likes Youve been framed

DD likes Strictly come dancing but more for the princess dresses I think

I like Zak and Cody!
