Is it only me or does her voice grate on anyone else's nerves !!!

She's a sweet girl but the way her voice goes up at the end of each note really does annoy me. And those hands ... She keeps holding the backs of her hands up.

Yes, she's different but vocally she doesn't compare to Alex or poor old Austin or indeed Laura.
Strange old series this one ..

I fear the producers have Diana earmarked as the winner.

No not just you, that was DREADFUL, if they did want her to win she will have to do better than that, they all knew she was shit this week.

that performance was awful but in the past she HAS been good. diana to win!

Ooh, just seen the hammering she's got on the main X factor thread....

she makes me think of vic reeves' pub singer whenever she sings a word ending in 'oo'

I just don't/can't get the way she sings "you" that becomes "yewrrrrrrrrrrrr" Arhhhhhhhhhheuwwwwwwwwwwwwr!

I fear that too Tillyboo. You can nearly always tell who is going to win. Her voice really gets on my nerves too, spot on with the impression Mhamai!

She can only sing certain songs, she isn't an all-rounder like Alex who could sing just about anything I'm sure, but yet Diana is adored, I just don't get it

Oh, and the hand thing really bugs me too! Crikey, she is just SO annoying! Arrrrgg!!!

I agree, could only listen to 1st 2 lines last night before muting... its painful to hear, sounds like a young cilla black who is being prodded in the bottom at the end of each line!
Seems a lovely girl, but singer...no.

I cannot stand her voice - I just DO NOT GET why she is popular. She sounds farking dreadful IMO.

And allthe stupid hand gestures - no, she gets ff after teh first couple of lines in our house.

she makes me cringe too horrible squeaking - can't work out why she sings like that as obv doesn't speak in that way - very bizzare

She fits into a different genre. For me, the one who stands out most is Alexandra at the moment though.

I cannot stand her, she is so bloody affected and a one-trick pony. She just yowls like a cartoon character, and I hate her fake kookiness. Oh, and her skin is so shiny I just want to scrub it really hard.

Cilla Black lol ....

She does also sound like Dolores O'Riordian from the Cranberries but Dolores is from Co. Limerick and her accent comes out in her singing voice.

I do get the Cranberries thing though, would love to hear her sing one of those songs- only then can we compare after all. This weeks song (apart from being hated by me as is anything Coldplay)

we love Alexandra, very talented. don't mind Diana, but couldnt see myself nuying anything she did.

Whereas I would Alexandra..... except that they will turn any of them into a Leona clone and I loathe Leona (as I do AMriah, Whitney, etc etc etc- just not my thang)

Leona is fantastic!

and she was so gracious and sweet, no bad attitude at all

Oh I'm sure sjhe is lovely and indeed good at what she does

not my taste though in any way.

But I doubt you'd like half my stuff too LOL- such is variety of life eh?
