I reckon maybe Eddie's fella is the husband & father of the woman and child that were killed in the car crash.

That would explain the rage and the connection with Mike (& Susan) but I may be way off base here I normally am....

watched this today on channel 4 catchup and im confused by it all i thought that eadies husband was mrs mc clusky's son then when i saw the ending its seems something else is going on. i think its something to do with mike though
