Well, actually, I think the others were a bit mean in not giving up their mascara and fake tan to rescue TM and DVD from their cage. Once they arrived, they were clearly pissed off about that, and the discussion about beds therefore got off to a bad start. I don't think there was any particular reason why Mallett and Van Day (arse though he is) should have to have been the ones to go to the cave although, ironically, they probably got the best deal in the end, weather-wise!
