I love the Royal British Festival of Remembrance. Used to love staying up "really late" when I was younger to watch the poppies fall.

I find it incredibly moving. And I used to wear one of those uniforms so it's extra meaningful!

All of this solo singing malarkey is new though isn't it? They had that Katherine Jenkins on last year. Not sure about that.

I am an old fuddy duddy though. They should have Rolf Harris singing "two little boys" on. Honestly, he was on breakfast news and I sobbed!

I've never worn the uniform but have family that do. Am very proud of them and you!

I get all choked up, I'm proud dh was in forces for 13 years and past ancestors have served for our country and lost their lives in the process (WW1 and WW2)
