Daisha had a Niagara moment in the lift with Joseph. My waters broke whilst I was lying down so have no idea if this was realistic. Someone please tell me it wasn't?!

Also, does she intend to stay living home with surrogate dad Mark and bring up baby - why doesnt Mark where Nurse's uniform?

lol, am also annoyed they are going to go with another 'don't really want to be a mum and refuse to bond with my baby' storyline. Wouldn't it of been nice to show someone adoring their baby and enjoying bf not sticking a bottle in its mouth!

LynetteScavo · 13/11/2008 22:44

but she hasn't really had a baby, y'know.

Breastfeeding might prove a bit difficult!

cheesesarnie · 13/11/2008 22:48

i cried!

mine went gradually with dd.i thought id been wetting myself for days

mm22bys · 13/11/2008 23:11

Mine was only a trickle...

I know it's obviously crucial to the whole baby-Joseph-Faye-Archie storyline, but I felt so sad and mad when the nurse walked in with that bottle! The poor baby was only a few hours old!

LackaDAISYcal · 13/11/2008 23:16

mine was a bit of a niagara moment, I was kneeling over the sofa at the time and in the middle of a contraction. I felt the amniotic sac bulging out and then whoosh.....everywhere.

PeachyAndTheSucklingBas · 13/11/2008 23:19

with two the aters went at start of pushing and almost drowned the poor w. with ds2 they went in gushes a bit earlier (under hour though) in 2 goes- fore and hind aters.

with ds4 they trickled slowly for a few days before labour kicked off

lisad123 · 13/11/2008 23:20

mine went everywhere!
and I love Joseph, his really grown on me. He did the looking lovingly at the baby very well
as for quick deliveries, mine was only 48 mintues with dd2

ChasingSquirrels · 13/11/2008 23:23

mine trickled with both, with ds2 I wouldn't have even made it into the lift.

PeachyAndTheSucklingBas · 13/11/2008 23:28

lisa from calling mw (which I did as soon as I realised was for real) to arrival 35 miutes

LynetteScavo · 13/11/2008 23:28

48 minutes is very precise lisad123!

My waters really gushed with DD. I shouted "My waters have broken!!!"

DH said "No shit."

lisad123 · 13/11/2008 23:30

well dd is only 13months old. I know but i woke in labour, and called for mw, and she was there when dd came along so she knew timing lol! Not bad seeing dd2 came though the sun roof!

thumbwitch · 13/11/2008 23:31

mine broke while I was on the loo and there was an awful lot more blood than Daisha appeared to have - and where did it all go, hey? miraculously evaporated, didn't it.

I was having fits about him cutting the cord as well...

she wasn't any too convincing in the labour pains bit either, bless her.

ChasingSquirrels · 13/11/2008 23:32

I called the hospital after my waters went, MW called back while I was having my first contraction, I told H to tell her she better be quick. She had no chance, ds2 was born just under 15 minutes after first contraction, which was 10 mins after waters went.

lisad123 · 13/11/2008 23:34

see if we were stuck in the lift, we would have delivered too
See i thought as a doctor her would have known about skin to skin especially for warmth, but hey maybe he didnt have access to mumsnet!
