She's covering for Oscar. He was so pissed off at the tender age of 11 months at being completley neglected and being left with chain smoking Dot that he did it for attention.

I was thinking Lauren too but then thought well, if it was her, then it would have been an accident so no need for Tanya to immolate herself on the altar of parental sacrifice.

Defo not Bradley though. Maybe it was Tanya after all? Although I can't see that Lauren would still be talking to her if it was her.

Definitely not Bradley - Tanya would only cover for her children or maybe, at a push, Jack but nobody else.

On the other hand, why would Stacy lie about it being Tanya? She has no reason to hate her, does she?

Unless it was actually Abbie - she has the same colouring as Tanya, if several feet shorter!

I think Tanya thinks it wa Lauren so is covering for her.

Stacey thinks it was Bradley and feels so terrible that she has ruined his life that she is trying to shift the blame to someone else. Tanya just happens to be an easy target.
