I couldn't get back on last night as dh took the laptop to work.

I think last nights show just proved even more to me that its a set up.
All the covering their backs with "you must call and vote" and putting it back on the publics toes so to speak.
And then the two who people have been screaming to be in the bottom two miraculously are in the bottom two! As if by magic

Daniel did not have the worst vocals last night. I don't think for a minute he would have won the X Factor but at least he hits his notes every week!
I think Rachel scares the crap out of them tbh and they're too scared to get rid of her. She is quite obviously shit and cannot sing. And as for her little gang shouting and being rude in the crowd!

To me, JLS, Eoghan and Rachel were the worst performers last night.

So how come the judges can now mention the fact that Rachel was out of tune last week, when they couldn't or wouldn't at the time?

And read an interview with Danii and she was asked about Simon Cowell and girlfriends. Her answer: hysterical laughter. Does she know something we don't? Like why he paid out 6 million (?) to ex when they split.

Think Rachel is vile and evil - she even said she was going to sing the song by Mary J Blige (Dermot said what the one by U2!)- her musical knowledge extends to MJB and no where else it seems which is sad when she has about as much talent in her whole body as MJB has in her crusty hard heel skin!

Hated Daniel but I would have prefered to hear his song again from the sing off than Rachels!

I can't stand rachel either. She's hard, one dimensional and if it isn't by MJB or la Winehouse, forget it.

i've been thinking about this, and the whole Rachel factor thing. Both she and Daniel are very indicative of what i would call 'Karaoke' singers, so the trail to the x-factor may have gone a bit like this...

*Rachel (using name purely as example, lol) goes to her local boozer every friday night for Karaoke. She has a limited repetoire- one of her 'mates' says-

'you know, our Rachel, you are well good at that Amy Winehouse song that you sing EVERY WEEK. You should go on X-factor.'

So *Rachel does. Sadly, she is unable to sing competently anything other than the 3 songs she has sung for the past 8 years in the pub. And even those aren't that good.

I wonder, in all seriousness, how many applicants could say that their story was identical to this?

I would say not, clam.

All the heckling Simon was getting from Rachel's 'camp' does make you wonder whether they are worried about recriminations if they get rid of her.

I am all for giving people second chances in life, she wants to prove she is better than her past suggests. I'm not sure national telly is the place to achieve it, really. She does have a strong voice, but she can't win. And the longer they string her along thinking she is doing o.k, the worse the fall will be for her when it comes. The public have been putting her in the bottom 2 for a reason- and not necessarily because they want the ordeal pleasure of hearing her sing again!!

Anyone know what they are all singing this week. I believe it's "Take That" week.

I heard there was a punch up between Dannii and Lois as they both wanted their acts to do Rule the world.
