Exactly turquoise - it's all about the sob stories and then the judges get pissed off because the public have lapped the sob stories up. I say vote for Alexandra - she has true talent and does not play on cuteness, quirkiness or tragedy.

Has anyone heard of Vote for the Worst? it's a website started off in response to American Idol where they would get everyone to vote for the worst person in the competition to keep them in week after week in attempt to piss the producers of Idol off as they thought it was all a fix. Methinks our x-factor has become a casualty of this.

Diana's backing dancer who Simon was really rude about last week is a mate of mine, and apparently the difference in sound mix/backing tracks etc between certain acts is astounding. And absolutely everthing is scripted, even to a floor manager counting down the seconds to the point when the judges wait out their dramatic pauses in the vote off.

I actually can't take the back rub he gives Dermot, the 'wink' and the phone hand thing. (or the ginger rinse). It reaaaally winds me up! He HAS to go now. It's sphincter clenching.
