I have used the term and heard it used many times but never knew what it was an acronym for something ?

How can anyone give up a 4yr old?

precisely - unbelievable they could do that, but they did -and went on to have two of 'their own' btw have every sympathy for those women who were forced to give up babies when they had no means of supporting them - but this is just utterly monstrous.
