it was lovely and traditional and old fashioned and now the trains have weird moving faces and Lady Topham Hatt is all slim and glamorous. Why change something children have loved for donkeys???

i agree, i loved the old thomas, but not so keen on the new. hate the rap and miss the shocked/scared eye rolling. ds still loves it though...

Saw this film at the cinema with ds2 (3.5).

All the children LOVED the rap . I hated Pierece Brosnan's voiceover more.

As far as I remember,though, the film is not CGI,it is in the old style.

htat's good to know as we were considering the dvd as a Christmas present. Pierce Brosnan is no good either though - voice-over MUST be in Scouse accent.

I do like the rock and roll bit of Where oh where is Thomas though?

We have had wall to wall Great Escape sionce grandparents bought it last week.

I find myself obsessing about which bits are CGI and which bits are actual models. Life, me? Evidently not...
