Why do we never see Bree's baby?

It just occurred to me that in the current run of DH we never seem to see Bree's baby, and he's not bein gtalked about either.

Did you see the E4 one tonight?? Won't do any spoilers but 5 years on WTF??????

because it isn't RL and she hasn't really had a baby

Its up there with questions like "why was Susan so grateful when Bree came to visit and did loads of housework, when her house always looks immaculate anyway?" Its because its TV land. Being a single parent is pretty easy in TV land. You can run your own catering business with never a thought about childcare. The baby just goes off and lives in another dimension.

They are in a soap-land creche, where all the soap babies live!
