Bit of a fashion evening on BBC2 tonight

Twiggy's great frock swap and something about British Style, looking at the high street. Don't know anything about either of these (though I gather Twiggy has a book out atm).

Frock swap thing is OK, not inspired, but quite fun.

The British Style Genius thing is interesting - talking about high street fashion - Kate Moss's collaboration with Topshop, and George Davies and Per Una .

Just me watching then?

I was watching whilst marking, dp has done that really annoying thing of just enetering the room and turning the TV over. He is now atching a crap Liz Hurley film.

I liked it - really interesting. The bits about Per Una made me lol and think of MN .

Yes I had a chuckle about Per Una bringing cutting edge fashion to the high street.

Twiggy was lovely......but crap at this....what a mish-mash of a programme. That ra-ra skirt made out of an old pair of jeans...mmmmmm, stylish.

Dh was watching under sufferance cos dd wanted to. Every time Twiggy said 'later in the programme'........he sighed deeply

oh I didn't see this thread before posting my own about British Style Genius - I loved it ! I loved Twiggy when she was a young model,and I love Mary Quant,Biba and Celia Birtwell- and added bonus of the fab Mary Portas !
