I was thinking that!

LilRedWG · 01/10/2008 20:07

That little girl knows exactly how to control her mum.

OP posts:
whoops · 01/10/2008 20:10

I watch this and realise my kids aren't so bad after all!

LilRedWG · 01/10/2008 20:12

Yeah - I think a lot of people will be feeling grateful tonight.

ds is sat watcing this - I think he learns something from this!

themoon66 · 01/10/2008 20:47

I don't know how that mum drove back without crashing

ilove · 01/10/2008 20:47

argh.....going to have to watch this now on +1!! I forgot!

TeenyTinyTorya · 01/10/2008 20:48

I am shocked. The wee girl seems so unhappy - I can't understand why she's behaving like this. To spend 2 hours screaming at 9 years old is just weird. It's so hard to deal with a tantrum at that age as well.

whoops · 01/10/2008 20:50

I have just PMSL at the dairylea advert though

lilymolly · 01/10/2008 20:52

oh my god and I thought I had problems with dd 2.7
Even she cleans her own teeth and dresses herself as best as can.

notinlimboanymore · 01/10/2008 20:59

LOL at frankenstien comment.

Janos · 01/10/2008 21:09

Didn't think they were unpleasant at all actually(unless there was something I didn't notice - wasn't watching closely).

I actually felt quite sad for the mum - she lost a baby at 23 months and that must have been awful, it was obviously still affecting her.

notinlimboanymore · 01/10/2008 21:10

If my daughter behaved like that at 9, I'd be ashamed.

Why give a 9 year old that behaves badly a mobile 'phone??? Was sad she lost her son at such a young age but was no excuse for traeting her the way she did. Should let them grow up and have quite a bit of independance. Ds2 (11) wathced with interest - seemed to find it funny that someone like that can behave like that. Need to have consistent parenting say No and follow through. Our 3 year old has sometimes slapped a bit but knows its wrong - certainly would not put up with it from a 9 year old.

Sherbert37 · 02/10/2008 11:49

just watched this and found myself sad again - was last week too. Imagine how many families must be like that behind closed doors. And it is reasonably quickly sorted out with the right help.
