I think so. I gave up about 10 mins ago and came on here. That's 20 mins of my life I'll never get back. I didn't know anyone could drag a boat trip out this much.

How old is your DS1? as there are some bits that are abit scary (not horror scary but scary iykiwm??)

Took DSs to the cinema for this film and spent whole first hour on edge because of total boringness. But once they get on the island it is jam-packed action and very good value.

It really kicks in once they get to the island. Some of it is very scarey though. The natives are creepy and there are some particularly horrible creatures on the island! Just to warn you!! I went to the cinema to see it when it came out. My nephew would have been 13 and he loved it but my niece who was about 8 or 9 was terrified by the natives!

It goes on for about 3 hours too long IMO. I only went to see it at the cinema because it had Jack Black in it. But even he's not great tbh.

Oh god those wormy things are horrible aren't they? My sister was in a right state when they appeared! She also suffers from vertigo and couldn't stand the later scenes in New York. They made her go all dizzy. But that was watching it on the big screen of course.

DS1 aged 8 is watching it. He's mesmerised. I'm particularly fed up because I rushed in from work and turned on for X Factor and got this instead!!!

See - now why did they drag out that bit with no dialogue with the giant alligator and King Kong fighting? They could've done that in 5 minutes!
