I've applied for tickets and so has gordonthegopher (my sister) - trying to double our chances of going! I normally dip in and out of strictly but I think I'll get quite into it this year. I don't know why you're hard on rachel stevens, I always quite liked her music and think she'll be pretty good. Oh man how sorry do you feel for the girl who's dancing with John Sergeant!

It's not on for a few weeks, they've just released the list of names to create interest in the show.

It was a PITA when she had her solo career and I was delighted when she started to slip into obscurity once more. I even said to dh last week 'Thank god she's not on the radar much anymore'.

When I was pregnant with dd2 3 years ago I cringed everytime I went to ante-natal appts at the hospital when they shouted out my name. Loads of people would titter and some 'wag' of a midwife would say "ooo give us a song will you"

Ditto giving my details over the phone.

It all got a bit tedious

MrsJamin - have you just applied for tickets on one night or a few different ones?

I thought you could only apply for one night so that's what I did. Not even thought what I'll do with the baby as it's an afternoon but it's some way off then! Have you applied?

I thought it said you could only have one application per household but then it said if you had more than one application they would choose which night you got tickets for, I thought there was more chance of getting tickets if I applied for all those I could make so I did but in my sister's name, mine, mums etc.

Fingers crossed we're lucky! We'll find out next week I think.
