I love them Hairy Bikers-have a MAJOR crush on the Geordie one and would like to take him to bed and let him eat curry out of my navel!!!

When does hairy bakers start?
I'm liking Britain from the air

dropinthe · 15/08/2008 19:15

Am looking forward to the Hairy Bakers as there are lots of cookery programmes but they often don't include baking.

Am loving:

Dr Alice - Don't Die Young
Private Practice
Jimmy's Farming Hero's
Big Brother
That conducting thing - can't remember the name!
Last Choir Standing - moves me to tears each week

I didn't think I watch much tv ............ I need to get out more!

Spidermama · 15/08/2008 19:20

I liked Summer Heights High very much but now it's gone.

Nothing much else really. Film4.

claricebeansmum · 15/08/2008 19:21

The Tudors

serenity · 15/08/2008 19:22

Not a great deal atm

Dexter on FX on Sunday nights
CSI Miami on 5 on tuesdays
Stargate Atlantis starts a new season on Sky 1 next week.....

That's about it! Spend too much time on the PC or reading instead.

JuneBugJen · 15/08/2008 19:33

Certainly not Arsekickers...

My DH keeps trying to convince me it is getting better so watched this weeks episode against my better judgement.

It is not.

dropinthe · 15/08/2008 19:33

I love Last Choir standing too-I like that prickle up the back of your neck feeling when they really do it!

OP posts:
Cappuccino · 15/08/2008 20:04

lol at arsekickers

agree not much atm; Would I Lie to You, Mock the Week

about it tbh

JuneBugJen · 15/08/2008 20:05

oooh, capp, those are the ones I watch but couldn't remember the titles.

Kind of glad to see Angus Deyton back behind a desk after the who cocaine orgy thing!

DonDons · 15/08/2008 20:05

The Tudors, The House of Saddam and the Desperate Housewives reruns. Also Hollyoaks but that is my dirty guilty secret.

Everything else is shoite IMO

wessexgirl · 15/08/2008 20:06

Loved the first episode of 'Maestro', will def be following that.

Sort of half-watching the Tudors (the rude bits mainly ).

If there's a half-decent Prom I'll watch that.

And that's about it.

wessexgirl · 15/08/2008 20:07

Oh, yy, Britain from the Air was ace as well.

Cappuccino · 15/08/2008 20:07

I wish angus wasn't on tv

too smug

I wish Alexander Armstrong could be given all his work

DonDons · 15/08/2008 20:08

oh yes - forgot maestro - v good

JuneBugJen · 15/08/2008 20:08

Quite enjoying Fashionistas ( hides behind sofa in shame).
Its like a televisual lobotomy.

CouldYouWouldYouWithaGoat · 15/08/2008 20:08

nothing tv is a pile of wank. i watched arsekickers in fascinated horror. it is ridiculous to the point of hilarity (either that or my brother and i had had too much to drink)

JuneBugJen · 15/08/2008 20:09

good point capp. Just felt a bit sorry for him for a while, I mean we've all done it haven't we, a romp on cocaine with a prostitute? (or have I the wrong disgraced TV presenter?)

AnybodyHomeMcFly · 15/08/2008 20:09

Dragons Den and Midsomer Murders

AnybodyHomeMcFly · 15/08/2008 20:10

And th'Olympics

dropinthe · 15/08/2008 20:11

Can someone tell me what this Arsekickers is about?????????

OP posts:
falcon · 15/08/2008 20:14

The Olympics, any documentary and The Secret Millionaire.

MascaraOHara · 15/08/2008 20:15

nothing. the only thing I'm watching at the moment is Dexter.. I've just reduced my sky package right down as well as for the most part the quality of programming is shite.. and as for the movies (terrible)

JuneBugJen · 15/08/2008 20:16

Are you sitting comfortably drop?

Then I'll begin.
There is a cobby crazy haired Scottish woman who says things like 'We MUST REVEAL THE SECRET' with all the acting skill of a person passing a kidney stone. We know not why she is cobby. Perhaps its because her boots are too tight.
Then there is the handsome bloke from Hustle who is clearly wondering who he pissed off in programming.
Then there is the rogue bloke who wanders in and say 'Tits! Dont mind if I do.'
And another bird.
Each week they discover the things that Indiana Jones couldn't be arsed to find and manage to destroy/lose/ generally behave in a manner which draws a large question mark over their univerity grant funding.

All clear? Excellent.

littlelamb · 15/08/2008 20:16

I don't have a tv but always catch Dragons Den on iplayer- I love it
