CBeebies - Best/Worst results

Okay, I've either got too much time on my hands or am very sad (or possibly both), but I thought it would be interesting to collate the responses to everyones best/worst CBeebies programmes and do a kind of BAFTA of CBeebies.

So the award for worst programme goes, with 16 votes to THE SHINY SHOW (can't believe it as it is my fav!)
[Runners up - Boogie Beebies and Zingalong]

The award for best Cbeebies programme goes to the newcomer SOMETHING SPECIAL with a whopping 21 votes.
[Runner up - Balamory]

A special award for being most annoying presenter goes to Sarah Jane from Tikabilla (I feel a bit sorry for her now).

I feel sorry for Sarah jane - Ok, she is as annoying as hell, but I think she comes across well to the kids.

how strange - I would have expected the shudderingly vile Tots TV (avec sac magique) to be worst. I can't watch it without thinking Tom to be a dirty old man. Shivers.

I really don't care if I find kids programmes/presenters annoying/irritating/boring etc......after all they're NOT for me to watch they're for my kids to watch. If they chose the presenters to appeal to the adults, and made the programmes less irritating to adults who would lose out??? the children!!!

I didn't vote in this (I think) but if I had have done I would have used DS1's opinion of them to gauge best and worst (he hates Shiny Show LOL) not my own opinion.........that to me is like asking a 4yr old to vote on which is the best hospital drama, ER, Holby City or Casualty................

Agree, Gwenick, the programmes are for our children to watch ... but if they do then we have to sit through them too! And if we can't then have a moan and slag the crappy programmes and irritating presenters off on a light-hearted thread then some of us may just have to throw ourselves from the nearest roof!

I like the Shiny Show too! Mind you, I'm surprised that I don't like some things I think I should (Little Robots, ugh) and do like some things I shouldln't (Tots TV, should be ugh).

Lockets, Pablo and 64 Zoo lane are loved in our house, they're brill, DS shouts to inform me everytime they start!

They are great shows seashells..........not that I am biased of course [am Lockets dh ] They are peaceful shows ..................
