Have been watching Ground Force this evening. really enjoy watching that programme although I'm not very green fingered myself. Charlie Dimmock makes me .
I can cope with the fact that she never wears a bra and that her nipples are always sticking through her t-shirt (dh loves to watch the programme just for that ). The thing that gets me is her hair. Why the hell doesn't she tie her hair up. She is forever pushing her hair back with her muddy hands. Grrrr!
Sorry rant over.

I quite like her. Think she is refreshingly unlike Rachel de Thame who really annoys me by looking perfect in the garden. I heard somewhere that Charlie Dimmock's mum and stepdad were killed in the tsunami - is that true anyone?

SPARKLER1 · 07/02/2005 21:48

CD seems okay as a person. It's just that I wish she would tie her hair up. Everytime I watch her I feel like climbing into the tv and giving her one of dd's hairbands.
Not heard that about her parent's. How awful if it's true.

when was working in last job, boss suggested I should advertise that Charlie Dimmock was in the business, when I mentioned he could be Alan Titchmarsh he said it wouldn't have the same impact....

SoupDragon · 07/02/2005 21:51

Would seem to be true

SPARKLER1 · 07/02/2005 21:53

Looks like it was her mother not her father. How terribly sad.

Blimey - I never knew that.

Yes, DH told me around that time about her parents. Very sad

Hulababy · 07/02/2005 21:55

It is her mum and her step-dad who were lost.

SPARKLER1 · 08/02/2005 20:32

I feel really sad now, when I lived in Hants I worked in Romsey where they live and yes her hair does annoy me but she's genuinely very sweet and very shy.

She lives not far from me, and her mum and step dad are missing.

She also has a much younger sister.

Kernowcat...where did you used to work, as I see her fairly regulary in Romsey? usually in Waitrose!

SPARKLER1 · 08/02/2005 21:28

KW - I was laughing because I had forgotten what thread I had posted on already.
