Can anyone explain it to me. Is it reality tv or is it a soap?? And what happened between heidi and lauren ?? I feel myself being sucked in some how.

Oh god, feel really embarrassed to reply to this but will deal with my shame to satisfy your curiosity.

I think it is reality tv, fly on the wall style. And I think Heidi and Lauren first fell out when Heidi 'chose' Spencer over Lauren if you see what I mean and then it was never really explained but Lauren seemed to accuse Spencer and Heidi of starting some sort of sex tape rumour about her or something which seemed to happen between shows when they weren't being filmed. If I am wrong and someone could put me right that would be great (but will then have to live with the knowledge that I have watched all three seasons and not understood an american teen docu soap )
