I don't normally watch it (honestly), but I was trying to take my mind off my driving lesson.

I want to know what happened with the girl who'd be told that her step brother was actually her dad. Was he ?? Or did the tests results prove that he wasn't ??

ChickenBurger · 08/07/2008 16:01

Does that mean mum was knobbing dad and son

I live a sheltered life!

IllegallyBrunette · 08/07/2008 16:28

Well the mum said all along that she'd never slept with the son.

I watched it for the first time in ages today.

theinsider · 08/07/2008 16:36

So who/why was anyone suggesting the step-brother was the dad?

A television program I've missed which said that something hadn't happened.

Nope, can't talk myself out of it - I'm interested now.

theinsider · 08/07/2008 16:51

bump.

You can't pique my interest like that then disappear off the face of the earth.

Please can anyone tell me the whole story? Abridged version will do.

IllegallyBrunette · 08/07/2008 17:51

The step brother had told the girl that he was her dad. He had apparently also told other people awell, but couldn't be on the show to speak for himself because he died earlier this year.

The mother was also being slated by her dd's for apparently telling them 7yrs ago that she had womb cancer.

She maintained that that were true, and that she still had it, but had never recieved any treatment for it

What I don't get is that everyone on JK says ' well my neighbours' postmans' cousins' friend sid I'm not the father/you cheated on me etc so that must be true. Why not just sit down and talk to their partner instead of beleiving all these silly vindictive rumours.

dp actually knows two families who appeared on JK

Both from the estate where he grew up.

He said they were same in real life as they were on telly

theinsider · 08/07/2008 20:29

Ahh, all becomes clear.

I hardly ever see it. When the opportunity arises I'm really attracted to it then 5 minutes in I have to turn it off it's so awful. Like a real-life Take a Break magazine.

Homes under the Hammer/Try Before You Buy are a bit anodyne but at least my blood pressure usually isn't too troubled.
