The Party. ITV drama

[Nothavingagoodvalentinesday]

Just finished watching this. Has anyone any thoughts they’d like to share?

Just finished watching it, we enjoyed it, even if it was a bit mad. Goodness, how the other half live, what a mostly horrible bunch of people. Serena's silver dress was to die for, but she had the figure for it (I would look like a foil wrapped marshmallow!).

We made it through the first episode but it didn’t grip us. DH said I could finish it without him but doubt I will bother tbh.

finished it last night. The end was very disappointing. And just ruined it for me, like who survives being shot in the head 🙄

I'm part way through. It's rather silly. And annoying. I hope it gets better.

Can't believe the choice to have Jonathan Houlston as Young Martin Gilmour and Lucas Ely as Young Benjamin Fitzmaurice. I totally thought they were meant to be the other war around.

I ditched it half way through the first episode. It didn’t grab me and I found the acting very wooden.

I felt like ditching it but I am on episode 3 (of 5) and it is getting better.

The machinations are giving me diplomat vibes!
