Love it. Bit slow at the start.

Disappointing to be honest. The ‘Windsor Castle ‘ was a joke. Will keep trying , have really enjoyed previous seasons.

Enjoyed it a lot. It is however getting a bit shark-jumpy.

About halfway through and enjoying this more than the last series I think, although am struggling to remember everything that was probably important as usual.

Love it! Just finished it and OMG! Can’t wait for season 5.

I feel like I need notes for every scene on the diplomacy ins and outs😆

Just finished it and loved it - although i have trouble keeping up with the diplomat-speak and often have no idea what they are actually saying to each other!

I binged the whole new season yesterday!

Wow just watched the last episode! Much preferred this series to the others.

I have watched up to episode 5. I was just think how much more I enjoyed series 1 when she was always inappropriately dressed and dashing into toilets to sort her outfit/hair out! It has to be viewed with a pinch of salt. But I do like the cast

Yes this was exactly what I thought - I was enjoying the series but that last episode, wow!

Absolutely love it! Every series ends on a fabulous cliffhanger and I am desperate for the next season already!

I can't help thinking...SPOILER ALERT....what on earth he is actually going to say to the Press? I mean, what can he say? I want to know!

Binged it, loved it. Shouted “come on Hal” as soon as Miguel stood up! It’s totally jumped the shark but so well done. We haven’t seen nearly enough of Todd yet and I reckon there’s some surprises to come from him.

Love it. I did gasp when Eidra said what she said at the end even though it's consistent with her character.

Just had this thought regarding the links with the West Wing, The Diplomat and Deborah Cahn...

In one episode of the West Wing, the character Josh Lyman referred to Donna as "Gracie"...in another episode, Donna had a date with a guy called Todd she was wearing that red dress...

Do you think Deborah chose the character names, knowing full well who she'd want to cast as Grace and Todd?

eta, I know Allison played CJ, but at the end of 7 seasons, Josh and Donna were finally a couple - hence Grace and Todd.

I’m two episodes in and all it seems to be is Hal and Kate arguing. The first episode just seemed to be one long scene of them sparring with each other. Hopefully it’ll improve.

Sorry but it was a let down

Does anyone else think Kate mis-traslated 'Picky bits' as snacks, I would call 'Picky bits' party food.

The irony is (of course) she's explaining it to Hal where as he is really British!

It’s part of their “thing”, they’re always blooming arguing. It really irritated me at first, but actually I’ve got into it more now. They’re married, they’re frustrated with each other, situation normal! I quite like the way that one minute I think how does she put up with him, and the next I’m thinking it in reverse. Maybe it makes me feel smug that I’m single 😂

Anyone else think that some of this has been a subtle nod re Trump? A president that’s a bit unhinged, got shot but not fatal, making snap decisions without thinking things through - meanwhile, their team are trying to navigate how to handle this individual that kind of doesn’t give a flying fudge about anyone else on the global stage.

Have now finished watching and wished that the ending would happen with Trump!

Todd reminds me of Dylan the rabbit in Magic Roundabout.
I did wonder whether Todd would be clever and had a cunning plan but seems just to be stupid. Couldn’t work his character out initially .
Still think ‘Windsor Castle’ was stupid !
