I know these programmes are filmed in December/January so naturally the outside areas are quieter than they would be in the summer. It always strikes me how the couples rave about having a property which overlooks the pool - does it not occur to them that the pool will be extremely noisy in the summer months with screaming kids, splashing and a lot of general annoyance??

I always think that!

I love that show!

And yes I imagine it would definitely occur to them.

I’m always amused at how dated the kitchens appear to be.

My parents lived in Spain on a complex with several communal pools and they were rarely busy even in summer. It will depend if the complex is a mix of residents or holiday makers.

Oh I love this program.

We would like a spacious 4 bed house on the beach please, with a swimming pool and our max budget is £2k Grin

I always think what nice and unusual clothes the (female) presenters wear. I wonder where they get them!

It always makes me laugh when they enthuse about drinking coffee or a cold beer on the terrace, and the woman jokes that the wardrobe will be large enough for her clothes but where will his go.

And isn't it depressing that essentially every apartment looks the same? Long, narrow 'living' area with a tiny dining table and cramped kitchen, bathrooms hardly ever have a bath, and the outdoor area so small you could hardly get a table and chairs on it! Still, most of them do seem to expect an awful lot for £80K!!
