Why is it that in tv series, the lawyer friend character represents every situation? when we all know that lawyers practice a particular type of law and can't just go around representing everyone! 🤷‍♀️

It’s the same with some medical shows - the hospital is a bit short staffed so all of a sudden the cardiologist apparently knows how to do neurosurgery 😂

I used to love that in Neighbours Toadie was an expert in all areas of law! He was there and ready to help in any legal situation…divorce, conveyancing, whatever!

Or like in Silent Witness when you've got the pathologists also doing police investigation and interviews.

So true. Also in medical shows where they run lots of tests until they actually find the cause.

Any why do we also have to have the camera zoomed in on shoes in legal dramas

I'm currently watching and enjoying CIA.

But they went to search for some baking powder in a kitchen, most cupboards they just opened the door, glanced in and shut the doors.

\the only cupboard they actually search is the one that does have the baking powder. How did they know which cupboard to search? I mean if a cupboard has tins in it it could also have other things.

Coronation Street. Adam Barlow is the resident lawyer who handles every type of case and never seems to charge the neighbours.

Any soap opera, you invite all your neighbours to your wedding but not family.

I last watched it in my teens and even then Dr Karl was doing everything from looking at people's sore throats in his GPs surgery to delivering their baby in hospital.

And at the funeral of a ‘much loved character’ who’s been in the series for decades…only 12 people show up!!
