Anyone watching?

Yes!! Was looking for a thread. What do you think? I find Wayne very amusing

ifone · 30/09/2026 23:36

I've only seen the first episode but it's entertaining.

I love the house, particularly the land it is on! Dreamy.

I credit Wayne for being an honest pundit and not just "playing it safe" like most do. Him saying the half time World Cup Finals performance was Crap was absolutely hilarious.

ABitFab · 01/10/2026 13:28

So I watched it all weekend.
Love the house 🏠 omg insanely beautiful

I’ve just started episode three and I’m enjoying it, they seem very down to earth despite their millions and their houses and lifestyle. The kids seem well brought up and Colleen and Wayne are really lucky to have her parents who give such a huge amount of help.
I like Wayne as a pundit as it’s like having a proper fan opinion and he’s really grown in confidence.

JacknDiane · 01/10/2026 13:36

Where can I watch this please

IAmKerplunk · 01/10/2026 14:01

It’s on Disney. Looking forward to watching it this weekend!

BertieMartini · 01/10/2026 15:48

I binged it over the weekend. They are both surprisingly likeable and seem very grounded in spite of the wealth, lifestyle and mansion.

I did eye roll at the Primark range. I find it jarring that hard working fashion graduates up and down the country won't get anywhere near such an opportunity, despite having the actual skills required and talent.

Call me old fashioned but the kids seemed a bit feral, with table manners that appeared to be non existent.

Enjoyable watch and it was clear who runs the show, Wayne is a level of laid back that few could tolerate. Good job he brings millions to the table!

I kind of agree with you a bit about the Primark thing but having said that, Primark clearly want someone recognisable to sell a range which will appeal to a particular demographic. I buy from Primark myself from time to time but as yet, I haven’t bought anything from Colleen’s range and I’m probably not in her demographic anyway.

I’ll watch the kids a bit more when I pick the episodes back up, but I thought they looked well brought up although I was surprised in (I think) episode two when their grandad took them to the boxing ring and the two boys boxing seemed to not be boxing in a controlled way, just went at each other.

I’m loving the series. Always liked Coleen. She is so down to earth. But the way he looks at her, it honestly looks like he’s not there emotionally. They have been together a long time but no tenderness between them. But it happens to us all. Very brave of them to open their life to camera.

Meredusoleil · 01/10/2026 21:23

Just watched the first episode and it's reminding me a bit of At home with the Furys. And if I thought I liked the Fury house, well I love the Rooney house 😍 They have a flipping lake on their grounds ffs!

lifeisgoodrightnow · 01/10/2026 21:30

I think Colleen looks beautiful in the narration scenes. I’m only three episodes in I’m waiting to see if they’re honest about how many staff they have to keep that place looking like that or if they try to sell the ‘Colleen does everything - Wayne’s a lazy tosser ( despite bankrolling it all for years ) shtick’

PiggyPlumPie · 01/10/2026 21:46

I never much like Wayne when he was playing football and eye-rolled so hard when he became my club's manager (Derby County).

But he won me round with his behaviour when the club was in dire straits. From knowing the names of every member of staff down to the tea lady and paying the players wages from his own pocket.

Enjoyed the Colleen docu after Wagatha Cristie so must remember to watch this.

dreamingofgoodhair · 01/10/2026 22:30

I liked it. I like her.
They must have staff though - maybe they didn’t want to be filmed?
Agree the kids seem a bit lively 😬
Wayne is bloody annoying. Interesting his parents don’t feature at all.
I know Primark need a name to show their stuff - but she doesn’t wear it.

Disney + I think 🤔 but I'm overseas.

Their house is beautiful (not watched yet only seen clips) but is it all so neutral? I miss colour in the world!

Yes, Disney + in UK

They are really likeable and relatable - despite their massive wealth, their house isn't my style but man I'd love to have that space and those facilities!

Wayne Rooney was a bloody brilliant footballer and I think it's got lost along the way, just how incredible he was.

Colleen has had her work cut out for her with him and four boys (I am a boy mum, I feel her pain!) and I like that's she's finally getting to do something for herself with Primark.

Enjoying the show.

I don't get how she's stayed with him all these years, and they don't look as if there's any love between them left. I'd imagine it's a marriage that they tolerate for the kids and he's under strict rules to indulge elsewhere in privacy.

It just made me feel really sad if I'm honest. And I work in interiors - all that neutral makes my eyes roll. It's so uninspiring and devoid of personality.

I think that it was a case of accepting his behaviour to keep the chaos and string of inevitable girlfriends away from the kids. She would have got half of his fortune so I don't think she stayed for fame and money. She strikes me as shrewd and I doubt staying was based just on lifestyle.

I imagine coming from a close family and being catholic scousers plays a part in them staying together too.

I agree with you about the interior and colour palette. It has that aspirational feel new money opts for. All that space and endless budget to go high end Mrs Hinch seems a hell of a shame and crime to design

"Finally getting to do something for herself with Primark" - Coleen Rooney has been advertising clothes for years - Littlewoods, Asda George etc etc
