What to watch after The Good Place

[CrawlingFromShitshowToAfterglow]

Hi. I've just finished the fantastic The Good Place. Can anyone let me know what I can watch next on Netflix or Prime?

I've also loved Friends, Modern Family and Schitts Creek.

I was thinking Brooklyn Nine Nine, Outnumbered or Motherland. Are hry good? Any other recommendations would be great.

Have you watched Younger? I enjoyed that on Netflix.

Future Man is the most similar show to the Good Place I have ever seen - the absurdity is off the charts, you will grow to love the characters and you will laugh like a drain in parts and might even cry 😳.

Parks and Recreation if you can get it

Man On The Inside (Netflix)

I also suggested Only Murders In The Building (Disney) but realised you are looking for Netflix and Prime.

New Girl is great, lighthearted, funny and lots of great characters.

The others you mention are also very good, especially Brooklyn 99

ah just noticed that too - New Girl is on Disney. I tend to subscribe to two or three services at a time and rotate them.

Nobody wants this! On Netflix. Also starts Kristen Bell!

Jury Service and Company Retreat on prime. Both very funny.

Upload is along a similar-but-not-the-same theme as The Good Place.

Another long running, very binge watchable ensemble comedy/light drama is Superstore.

But you should start with B99, it's one of the very best!

Definitely Brooklyn 99 so funny and no weak characters.

Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt!!

Brilliant! Thank you so much, everyone. I'll start with Brooklyn Nine Nine tonight and then move to the other recommendations.

Agree with Upload and Nobody Wants This too.
