I couldn’t see a thread on this but apologies if there is one and I missed it. Is anyone watching this? It’s right up my street!

I really enjoyed it but im now wondering how we would survive an apocalypse, not too hopeful!

I definitely would not have left those chickens where they were for starters…! Is it one episode a week or are they all up on streaming?

I wouldn't want to be left with some of those people!

Some of the personalities grate, but it looks like it could become compelling. It’s going to be an interesting psychological experiment.
I felt sorry for the girl crying with hunger. But the uselessness of certain people and the controlling survivalist types give me the rage.

Annoying people to have in an Apocalypse include:

• Aussie cattle rancher guy (makes you starve but admittedly is useful to have on your side)
• Content creator/soc-med guy (seems a bit clueless going into the dead woods to collect poisoned nuts and berries)
• Blonde haired politician who demands to hold the light because she's scared of the dark (did they explain the show to her?!)
• Argumentative black cab driver. Too much confrontation for me.

Not on 4od at the minute but I'm sure they'll release them all soon though

Did they bring bottles of water with them?

I thought it said there was no running water

But then what are they doing for water. Cos it hasn't mentioned that they've had no water

The trails say “stream now” so it is annoying no episodes are there to stream.

@IdiotCat i thought the content creator guy was game though. I’m Scottish and we are usually represented by people who make me cringe in this type of show but he’s holding up well!

@purpleme12 i wondered that too, but yes they must have access to water.

The Guardian gave it an excellent write up but mentioned about the cast all being “types” rather than regular punters which I would agree with. I yearn for the OG Big Brother era!

Good point! I did see the teams had bottles of water in one shot.

I watched the first one and was immediately irritated at the self awareness that all these people seem to have about themselves, but choose to do this experiment anyway 🫣 .

I understand the drive to try and improve oneself, but there are easier ways to chase clout do this .

Anyone else really want to go to the little town they’ve built? Looks really good.

I find the people annoying though. That sort of brings it down for me.

But this way you get to be on TV 🙃
