Has anyone watched this?

I never realised it was on, but then I dont think I have checked More 4 for years.

But saw a review saying how great it was and sad it was the last episode.

Just wondered if anyone had watched it, and if so whether it is worth watching it online, even if it has irritating ad breaks?

And also as it is meant to be funny whether French humour is easy to get!

Comic French crime drama from Walter Presents. Confident ex-con turned lawyer Tom sets out to prove his innocence, find his wife's killers and help others who've been wrongfully charged, like he was.

I've been watching it and finding it very enjoyable. The characters are likeable and imho well worth the watch.

That's good to know.

Have nothing I really want to watch at the moment so will give it a go tonight.

Could do with something a bit light hearted!

I have been really enjoying it, easy to watch, good characters, it is funny too, even with the subtitles.

I recorded it as it took over from the Sonnendahl Murders, last Carpe Diem tonight, in the slot next week is another French one, Coastal Unit.

I really liked it too. Good acting, charismatic leads. Second series is being made.

It’s not available on More4 for very long btw.

I liked it. There's also another French series is a vaguely similar mould; Everyone Lies. I haven't watched More4 in years, though, just the C4 app.

Most of what I watch these days is on the world drama section of all 4.

Haven't tried Carpe Diem, but am loving Everybody Lies - it's a bit like a French Beyond Paradise. There is another similar series called The Invisibles, and one called The Wagner Method which has a very odd hero, but is hilarious.

I've also just finished watching the second season of Bulgarian series The Devil's Throat. I watched the first season some time back, and can't remember too much detail about it, but liked the two leads. I really enjoyed the second series. But it is quite violent, and, to be clear, not light-hearted in tone at all. But the cinematography and editing are, well, a little bit different to what you'd see in in a French or German series. Or British, indeed.
