The new series is on iPlayer now and it’s still brilliant. DH and I have just watched three episodes and would watch more of we didn’t have to go to work tomorrow.
So glad it hasn’t lost its charm. And Colin is still adorable ❤️❤️

Hmm … Maybe I wasn’t in the right mood. Enjoyed the previous series but episode one of this all feels a bit laboured. If that were really her life it would have been unbearable, so it’s a bit hard to believe.

I’ll probably persevere, though; out of respect for past achievement.

Watched the first episode last night and agree with the poster above, it didn't seem all that believable. The new boyfriend was just too awful and tone deaf. However, maybe it will pick up when the main couple spend more time together, their chemistry is amazing.

Exactly the same. DH never lets me binge things and we also delightedly watched three episodes in a row last night.

See I warmed to the new boyfriend after three episodes. I did think WTF at first but then I got it.
This show is like warm hug to me!

The t-shirts were pushing credibility a bit much 😂 As was the 'sexy' party. But it's so good.

I'm so happy this show is back! I've watched two episodes so far, trying to restrain myself from bingeing the rest to prolong the enjoyment.

Probably one person who is glad it was not shown earlier in the year is Rachel Reeves, as I think the 'Rachel from Accounts' criticism must have been started by someone who watches the show.

Good ending. But yes the sex party was cringe, and very unlikely I thought.

I enjoyed it all, yes all a bit silly and far fetched etc but easy viewing with some funny and some heartfelt bits in it.

Just watched the final episode. Absolutely love it, yes lots of silly stuff but it always gives me a warm fuzzy feeling and a lot of laughs.

Couldn’t help wondering how each scenario would play out on Mumsnet.

Trying to finish tonight as I’m going away for a week. Sex party was horrific. I’d have locked myself in my room so fast. Otherwise enjoying it so much.

Didn't see the previous series but found this one very dull and underwhelming. Gave up quite quickly. What is all the hype about? It's laboured, misogynistic and boring.

Finished it lost night with DH - loved it - great finish. Though the final song, ‘into my arms’ we played at dds funeral - which made that a hard watch (Dh reminded me that we also played it at our wedding, which is true).

Makes me homesick also as I am Australian.

Probably the most underrated of its genre since The Office.

You need to watch it from the start so that you know the whole story and you get to know the characters. Give it a go, trust me!

I have really loved this final series. All of the characters feel warmer. I love the awkwardness between the main characters. Also the mum and stepdad are brilliant characters.
