So, the mum had been a victim of DV, which made her vulnerable, and, yes, she reported to Prevent, and the authorities are liable for massive failings.
But that the actual fuck was the mum thinking? Meeting a prisoner in the US ("only fire arms convictions") and bringing him to the UK to live with her and her kids? Why did Social Care approve him as a safe person to live with them?

The mum is a complete fool. Bringing Dax Mallaburn into their home, why on earth?? And poor Rhianan made allegations that he had sexually abused her but withdrew them when the police turned up at the house to investigate further.

I can't believe the mother has the gall to then go on TV making out that it was everyone's fault but hers. No. Just no. She chose to go to pretty incredible lengths to bring a convicted American neo fucking nazi into her family home, and kept him there even after her young daughter accused him of sexual abuse. And then she can't understand why/how her daughter gets radicalised and develops severe MH problems? Just shocking.

Mallaburn himself gets off very lightly too I think. They don't seem to have mentioned that it was him who put Rhianan in touch with Chris Cook in the first place for example.
