8 part mystery drama on bbc 3
recent Australian drama is set to land on the BBC. He Had It Coming first premiered in its native country last year, and follows two women who become embroiled in a murder mystery.
Featuring an impressive cast including Big Mood's Lydia West, Ahsoka's Natasha Liu Bordizzo and Yellowjackets' Liv Hewson,
West plays the role of "awkward British scholarship student" Elise as she forms an "unlikely alliance" with Barbara (Liu Bordizzo), a fashion influencer.
After a series of mishaps with men, both decide to take a stand," the synopsis adds.
"Barbara spearheads an activist art project in the dead of night, and while drunk the girls deface a statue of the university’s male founder in the university’s quadrangle."
However, they awake to find that the university's star athlete (Cougar Cody Simpson) has been murdered and his body placed at the foot of their statement, leading to a race to "urgently erase all ties to the crime".
With Detective Shepherd (Hewson) following the breadcrumbs they have been trying to sweep up, Barbara and Elise need to find the real culprit amid rising gender tensions on campus and a growing body count."
