Now vs HBO Max?

I want to watch The Pitt and the GoT spinoffs - I don’t want sky as it’s ridiculously expensive and I’d be stuck in a long contract. So which would be better, Now or HBO Max? I want flexibility so I can cancel once I’ve watched what I want and ideally no ads

Now includes HBO Max. As a new subscriber to Now you’ll get a good deal. I pay £10.99 a month for no ads, locked in for six months. I don’t know if they let new subscribers cancel anytime.
