I can't remember watching series 1 .

Episode 2 is in tonight but I'm watching episode 1.

Is it worth sticking with ? I'm at the first break and I'm not sure I can be bothered

i loved first series. taking a while to get back into it this time, but will stick with it.

I've just read a recap of series 1 and am still none the wiser! I'm on episode 2 and still unsure so came on to see what MN thinks of it.

Yes we loved it. Found season 1 a bit slow but stuck with it.

Just finished the last episode. Thought it was a bit sad as basically Simon Pegg saved the world and got punished where as wifey was useful so forgiven and ' turned' . I liked Chloe Pirries character.

I've enjoyed it - very good cast, good storyline, satisfying ending. Though I did wonder a bit about the uselessness of the Chinese police. I also thought it was a pity that Saara's autistic genius friend didn't feature.

I wonder whether Danny would have been that sad about losing the job? He clearly found it incredibly stressful.

I'm hoping they may have left the door open for another series, with Barbara still at GCHQ, and Saara getting a permanent job there. Maybe Roz will take over from Danny, but Danny will get to save the world again when Roz insists on calling him in to help with the next crisis.

I think it looked open for a new series. Not sure I understood it all, but I did really enjoy it. Love all the strong females.
