Juvenile, toilet humour. It's SO bad...does anyone actually like it?

I agree. I haven't watched it but more generally the BBC output over the last few years has become more down-market (juvenile), more right on (gay, trans, "inclusive") and they have completely forgotten their original ideal which was to educate and improve.

For a long time I resisted the temptation to criticise the BBC because I loved it as a child and I learned so much but now many decades on it has become a parody of itself.

I have no issue with inclusivity. It's just...bad

It is. Truly terrible. And the "oirish" stereotypes are pretty foul

I haven't seen the series under discussion so can't comment on whether it is good or bad but this made me laugh: they have completely forgotten their original ideal which was to educate and improve - were Open All Hours, Fawtly Towers, Only Fools & Horses etc. intended to 'educate and improve'?
