I love this show, apart from Mika. I really wish they would find someone else as a judge. Every single one of the guest judges have more talent and more empathy. He really didn’t like Harri and didn’t try to hide the fact.

Every one of those players broke my heart. 💓

I was at the final concert in Birmingham, it was amazing. I'm a huge Mika fan, he's the reason I started watching it and he's an amazing judge and lovely person.

I can’t get past the way he sings in a stupidly high, affected voice.

Ha ha, he doesn't do that so much now. That's from his early songs, his recent albums are very different 😊

He did, but that's because he was singing a song from his first album and that's how it was recorded. He's released another 6 albums since then, including one completely in French and not really sang high like that since his second album in 2009. He has a beautiful voice and even I prefer it when he sings in his normal voice too, rather than when he sings high.

He adds to the programme and his voice sounds wonderful, even if it's better when it's lower! I agree with everything you've said.

He's perfect for the role, he knows his stuff. Love his voice.

He patronises the other judges. This was especially apparent with Lang Lang.

When he was a co judge with Lang Lang, Mika frequently offered enthusiastic commentary, which sometimes came across as explaining music to Lang Lang.

Mika and Lang Lang are actually very close friends, so I'm sure Lang Lang didn't feel patronised.

I only ever found his explanations and teasings to be a sign of friendship. In an Instagram reel he discussed the first time he heard Lang Lang playing on set, and he seemed in awe of his skill to me. I agree, I don't think Lang Lang felt patronised.

I love the show and generally like Mika.

I do agree on Harri.

Must add, Harri's song of all of the things played has got into me like a proper earworm. I keep singing it. That's remarkable for a self penned song.

Grace was on our local news this week and is doing some music together with someone else from her episode but she didn't say who.

Exactly, they have a great rapport and a wonderful friendship. Was so cute seeing how they are together when I was at the filming of the Christmas special in June.

I promise you that Mika does like Harri. Harri is now even commenting on threads on the Mika fan club about how wonderful Mika is and what a huge fan of his he is now.

This reminds me of a past Christmas special (I think that's what it was) where Lang Lang called Mika his dear friend. They seem to be great together.

Great 😃 I don't meet many Mika fans, unless I'm actually at his concerts. The Christmas special was filmed at King's Cross in June. They brought Lang Lang back along with Jamie Cullum and Charlotte Church, plus pianists from the different series. I spent the whole day there along with some other Mika fans, was strange wearing Christmas jumpers in June though and they'd decorated the station accordingly. Can't wait to watch it on Christmas day.

It can be hard to meet Mika fans out in the wild! Fantastic, sounds like a wonderful time. There's still some time to go until Christmas 😄
