What Game of Wool *should* have been

Just found this show on YouTube, it's from Denmark but you can auto translate the subtitles into English.

Called "Den Store Strikkedyst" which translates as Great Knitting Bee. It's everything which Game of Wool was not and shows how it should be done. First episode challenge 1 - knit a baby sock. Just one. Given skeleton pattern, choose your own yarn. Challenge 2 - given the front and back for a baby sweater. Knit the sleeves, add embellishment.

None of the ridiculous crocheted sofa covers and dog coats.

This looks so interesting! But how do you auto translate the subtitles?

If you go onto youtube and enter the search " Den Store Strikkedyst 2 - afsnit 1" rather than hitting the thumbnail it should bring it up, the account is tvSyd. if it doesn't load English subtitles right away, click on settings and then danish auto generated - english.

It's not perfect, there are errors with some of the auto translate but it's definitely good enough to follow what's going on.

The show has much more of a Sewing Bee vibe to it.
