Has anyone watched this? If so what did you think? We finished it yesterday.

Loved it. Could hv been an episode or two shorter.

I thought it was the most fun thing I've watched in years but I do think it might help if you are "that age".

Sadly series 2 and 3 are cancelled because the writers have gone to Paramount.

Loved it. Sad there is no second series.

Ah me too. Really liked it, thought it was quite refreshingly unique and loved the way it was styled and linked the 50s with the present day.

I was disappointed to hear no more series.

I found the relationship between geena davis and the cop quite hard to stomach. I started off liking it (and we did persevere to the end) but I lost a lot of interest early on.

Yes loved it. Shame I hadn’t heard no second series, but it actually could end when it did.

Why the problem with the relationship?

As a woman of her age I loved it.

I didn't find the (30 year?) age gap believable at all.

It happens in real life. He lived on site in the middle of a desert. His choice of fun women with a great personality in great shape was pretty limited.

DH and I loved it, I would have liked Bill Pullman to have been in it for a bit longer. It reminded us of the films and series we used to watch like, surface, cocoon and taken( the alien one).

I liked Bill Pullman, he would have made it better I think. I was disappointed as it went from being a bit scary to (to me) being too ridiculous.

I really liked it. Genuinely refreshing to see older people centred and looking cool for a change.

I enjoyed it while I was watching it, but there seems to be a LOT of plot holes that weren't tied up at the end and dead ends that made no sense.

What happened to Seraphim? They made a big deal of it in the first episode and it was basically never mentioned or used again.

The crows thing was weird - if mother was trying to communicate with Sam, that was a stupid way to do it since he wasn't there.

What was the deal with the quartz? It was a big deal in the first episode then never mentioned again.

What was Ed Begley Jr taking about with the owl in the wall and the key in the light? It didn't fit with anything else that happened!

Why did they have so many people drinking Mother's blood? All those admin people could have been cut off so give mother the break she needed.

Why didn't they use the huge reserves of blood they had in that massive bath (that they were wasting by splashing around in it!) if mother needed a break? There was plenty to keep them going for at least a couple of weeks so she could recover.
