The murder of Rachel Nickell

Has anyone watched this? Couldn’t see another thread.

What happened to Rachel Nickell and Samantha & Jazmine Bissett was awful and some devastating police mistakes made over many years.

I was left feeling an overwhelming admiration for Rachel’s son Alex and his Dad. What incredible men they are. I can’t fathom how you navigate being the remaining parent in that situation and he really seemed to advocate for his son throughout.

So sad that it all could have been prevented and those wonderful women could have watched their children grow up.

I’m always so confused when the police don’t action information they have received. This chap had come to their attention before, his own mother had spoken to them about him. Do they just decide who is guilty and develop tunnel vision? They had everything they needed to prevent that poor woman and her daughter’s death, but they ignored it

Just to add Rachel’s sons bravery and her partners commitment to her and their child was equally beautiful and heartbreaking

I watched it a few weeks ago.
They had clearly had their struggles, but I thought they were both remarkable men.

I don't think he has ever got over the loss of Rachel who was clearly the love of his life.
Utterly tragic
