I couldn't find a post on this show, apologies if there is.

I have just finished watching and not sure what I think.

Not sure any of the characters were likeable , but they did seem to develop. Well the detectives were ok.

It did hold my attention, ending wasn't sure about .

Anyone else watched it ?

Yes we watched it. Baffling and funny in equal measure. Thought it was brilliant.

I stopped watching it on the second last episode I think. It was so slow and boring! I opened this thread as you said spoilers so I was hoping to find out quickly who done it 😂

I thought it was different to the usual fare, enjoyed it. I haven't though seen much about it in media.

Yes I agree that it was different than most of the usual dramas you get on tv.I found it painfully sad at times but then some very funny moments I liked the relationship between the two detectives. Carol was very annoying.

Oh thank god I know how it ended! I watched all but the last 2 episodes like another poster and couldn’t be arsed to go back. Good but not riveting appointment TV

Thanks for the update @Flightyflora. I weirdly found a series centred around threesomes to be completely unsexy. I liked it to begin with but as the weeks went on nothing was happening so gave up.

I just finished this and I absolutely loved it. I didn't know what to think for the first few episodes but enjoyed it more as it went on. Brilliantly acted. There was something totally shameless about the acting, it made me really admire the cast. Particularly David Harbour. That scene where he is dancing in his underwear with Jason Bateman, so funny and cringey and they did it so well. The 'Modern love' mix up that was the catalyst for the whole thing going wrong was very funny and clever. The detective was very good too, his facial expressions made me laugh each time. It's a sad story though and I felt heartbroken for the poor neurodiverse teen.

Like you I feel it developed as it went on and wasn’t as clear cut as it seemed . The characters were more complex.

Yeah I thought Clarke was a sleaze at the start just using everyone around him but he wasn't so bad. A bit of a fool having a mid life crisis really. Floyd was the world's most empathetic guy on one hand but then did some phenomenally selfish things and was shallow, obsessed with his looks. I kept changing my mind about him. I loved his child like enthusiasm and the relationship with his step son was so beautiful but then he ruined his life without a second thought.

I did do a thread on it - think I liked e1 and watched a few more but end is still on my Planner so guess I gave up 😂
