Just been catching up on the coverage - so far episode from Monday - the “florist/tablescaper” doing the hydrangea display - really - it was awful - and then in the second spot joining lemons with toothpicks - and the comment “ oh you can buy these (eg lemons) on the high street”

DH said it made Megan look professional

I am hoping the programmes get better ?

Yes! I thought the florist (and the arrangement) was extremely close to parody - and the presenting so stiff and awkward
I gave up and watched the football with DS

I don't have a TV license but there are some good videos on YouTube, thankfully without all the padding and the celebs. Just the gardens. Loving all the natural planting and soft lines, so refreshing after years of concrete and harshness. Remember the lollipops?

I wondered where Joe was this year, so I googled him and found out that his mother is Margaret Drabble and his father was married Hyacinth Bouquet, well I never.

Pimms, here I come.
we have got a list of gardens/stands to visit including the Parkinson’s UK garden which we have voted for in the People’s Choice. We’ve had three family members with Parkinson’s

I did enjoy it, we had a Pimms overlooking the river, we sniffed David Beckham, looked at auriculas, irises, aliums, succulents and much more. We didn’t go until 3.30pm and then went to eat after so I haven’t been home long 😴

I must also mention the clothes. So many people, men and women, make an effort to wear flowery/nature designs. We saw some beautiful dresses and thankfully none of those hideous gnomes

Glad Arit won the People's Choice. Lovely woman
