Just found out that a sequel is in production, moved to Amazon Prime. Edie Falco back as Jackie Peyton ten years later.

I’ve just binge watched all seven seasons on 4. It’s as good as ever.

Brilliant news. Loved that series

I’m such a fan of Edie Falco in this, but also Merrit Wever. It will be interesting to see who else turns up.

I’m not a binge watcher, by nature, but I was hooked on this. Will definitely be watching nurse Jackie 10 years later.

she’s probably been serving time in the intervening years 🤣

Recently watched all of them again for the third time and enjoyed it more than the first. Can't wait for this new series !

SPOILER ALERT - don’t read this post if you haven’t already watched to the last magnificent episode.

For everyone else, the last scene was deliberately left ambiguous so that the viewer could reach their own conclusion about Jackie’s fate. However the writer apparently felt she survived.

I feel oddly happy about this, because in my world she didn’t.

Also in Edie Falco’s world, from an interview I read with her. She said as Jackie hadn’t learnt anything or made any changes to her patterns, her dying was a justified ending and so that’s what she felt happened.

I’m glad not though.

Lots of Nurse Jackie fans here - love it! O'Hara was one of my favourite characters, but they are all great.
