White Lotus 3 - worth watching?

I watched the original when it came out and enjoyed it. Recently got access to the others.

Watched 2 and quite enjoyed it. Then watched first episode of 3 and wasn't feeling it. Should I stick with it?

I've actually gone back for a rewatch of the original and been reminded how good it is.

I agree with this completely.

Life’s too short to continue with something you’re not enjoying. The general consensus is that the third season was nowhere near as good as the other two. I hope Mike White is back on form for season four (currently shooting in the south of France).

I enjoyed it. Very happy with the lack of Jennifer Coolidge, personally. Parker Posey was a much better addition.

I wouldn’t bother. I mean the setting is lovely but nothing happens until the final 10 minutes! I was so angry that I wasted so long watching it.

Two comments - 1. I quite enjoyed it 2. I had to look it up to remember anything about it. I’m not sure I would make any huge effort to finish it tbh.

The third one bored me to tears and I couldn’t finish it.

Appreciate the feedback. I wasn't sure if jumping from one season to the next I was just missing the characters, or if it actually wasn't as good.

I thought the first one was overrated - not bad, but I think my expectations were too high given how much everyone was raving about it. I continued watching anyway and absolutely loved the second one. The third one falls somewhere inbetween for me; definitely worth watching but not that special.

Oh I loved series 3! The Jason Isaacs and Parker Posey characters are fantastic.
