I thought last night's was much better. Dh and I did lots of 'eh?' and 'thought so'.
My qs are; why didn't flying guy die on falling out of sky and who is he anyway, there's something odd about him? Is electricity girl Claire's sister? What is Mummy Petrelli's power? Why did Mohinder shoot Mr Bennet?

Thoughts?

I should really get out more!

Much as I love it, this series has left me more and more confussed each episode. It doesn't seem to have any direction (in the way the first did).

I wonder if Noah has powers....
Are the same powers inherited? Because Adam can regenarate and so can Claire. I still don't really understand Nicky/Jessica/the other chick, as a character TBH. What exactly is her power? Is it just that she's kick ass strong? (I think I've missed a couple of episodes so it might explain my confusion) have all the 'bad' guys with powers been infected with the virus? is that why they're bad?

On a more serious note. PP is gorgeous this series. Silar creepy but pretty darn hot too.

A lot of this series is about fathers and children. Mr Bennet crosses the line in his attempts to protect Claire, while Bob happily handed Elle over to the Company and turned her into an unbalanced psychopath. Parkman faces up to his father; Hiro sets out to avenge his. Parkman and Mohinder take on fatherhood towards Molly.

I think they are leaving open whether similar powers are inherited.

The virus has nothing to do with making people 'bad'. It was engineered by the Company to take away powers but Batch 138 or 168 or whatever is just very infectious and fatal to the general population.

I do think it has regained that superb moral ambiguity that characterised the first series. People do Bad Stuff for Good Reasons. And vice versa.

Ohh P&L and LFTS, interesting points. I really shouldn't take everything at face value. Never been good on the analytical.

Apparently season 3 opens with a 3 hour episode!

(typing with hand over eyes so as not to see spoilers, but so as to be able to come back to thread once I have watched last night's recorded episode! I love Heroes!!)

Last night's was a bit boring really, it felt rushed - which I suppose it has to be because of the writer's strike.

I suppose it really needs the slow build to keep my interest..I must admit I'm looking forward to the opening of season 3 more than the final episode of this series. It doesn't feel like a cliffhanger - except for Hiro, but we know he'll be ok..don't we?

Mohinder still has the lovliest pair of hands I have seen on TV for quite some time.

this is very anoraky, but - I listen to the BBC Heroes podcast (got to do something while bf-ing at 3am!) and it doesn't give spoilers but just discusses theories etc - worth a listen if you are a saddo like me!

Might have a go at that caz - I've yet to get my head round podcasts and such but it might be worth it.

I'm a saddo too btw - usually watch heroes unmasked, it's interesting to hear how they all talk in RL. For all his faults, I do think Moh-yawn-der does a very passable British accent.

I think you can just "listen again" on the radio 7 website! without having to download etc

Just listened to the 'listen again' thing, in preparation for last episode tonight. New series in Sept apparently and will be simaltaneous (sp?) with US so no spoiler risk.
