I’ve watched it and enjoyed it. Haven’t seen series one and watched this mainly as it had Carey Mulligan in it. It has a White Lotus vibe to me. Everyone seemed doomed and unhappy though

Nowhere near as good as the first season but still a decent couple hours. I really liked S1.

This one is a bit forgettable but still alright. I liked the episode in the hospital. What do you think of it?

I dragged myself through season 1 and in my opinion it was the most overrated show ever! So no, won’t be watching this time.

Agree that its not as good as S1 it lost my attention with some of the Korean lang sections so im not sure I fully understood the ins and outs.

I don’t think I understood what Austin chose to do in the end because he didn’t love her?!

Not a patch on season one

Watching. Definitely agree with the White Lotus vibes which I don't think I noticed in S1. It's interesting, but I can't binge watch it because I find Cary Mulligan's character so irritating!

I loved Season 1 but I'm not enamoured with this one. Everyone is just utterly unlikable. I'm not sure if I'll keep going with it.

I love it! I’m clearly in the minority here, but I actually like it even more than S1 - a lot of the characters are very realistic to me (I swear I’ve met some of them in real life), the dialogue is funny but also holds up really well during the deep/emotional moments, and I’m loving all the twists and turns.

The only issue for me was that I couldn’t quite get my head around why a South Korean billionaire was so invested in the day-to-day running of a Californian country club - especially before the money laundering started (I understand why she would be after that). While a lot of things about the show are obviously far fetched, this was the only one that I couldn’t totally get behind…

DH and I really enjoyed it: twisty, unpredictable and a bit different! Though every character was selfish and horrible. It was so hard to root for anyone. And poor little Burberry!

Same as the Carey Mulligan character was doing before him: he's just riding on her coat tails.

S1 way better because the tension of the ‘Beef’ was sharper
